Healthy Granola Bars


2 1/2 cups oatmeal

3/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup wheat germ

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup flour

3/4 cup add ins like raisins, craisins, seeds, chocolate chips

3/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup honey

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup oil

2 tsp vanilla

2 Tbsp water


Mix everything together and press into an 8x8 or 9x13 pan, depending on how thick you want your granola bars. Bake at 350 for 30-35 min or longer if they're thicker, the sides should have browned a bit. Cut squares or rectangles in pan while warm but let cool completely before removing from pan. Wrap individually with saran to keep them fresh or you can freeze them.
