Granola Bars

1 1/4 cup old fashioned oats

1/4 wheat germ

1/4 cup flour

1/2 tsp cinnamon (I like to do 2 tsp)

1/2 tsp salt

1 egg, beaten

1 tsp vanilla

1 Tbsp oil (I use vegetable but you can use coconut as well, just melt it)

1/4 cup add ins like seeds, nuts, craisins, chocolate chips

1-3 Tbsp water (just enough to make everything wet)

Mix everything together. It won’t be a sticky batter like cookies, it will be more loose and crumbly. Press into a parchment lined 8x8 pan (you can use a loaf pan if you’d like a thick granola bar, you’d just need to bake it longer), with a fork and bake at 350 for 10-15 min. The edges should be light brown and the top should not be glossy. Remove from parchment and cut when slightly warm.
