Energy Balls

Most energy balls contain peanut butter which is not school friendly. The recipe I created is not only peanut free it’s completely nut free and added sugar free (except for the chocolate chips).

150g Date Paste (see below to you make your own)

2/3 cup old Fashioned oats

2/3 cup add ins (coconut, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, chocolate chips)

Mix and roll into balls.

To make your own date paste take 1 lb of pitted dates, 1/2 cup water and simmer until dates have softened. Purée once room temperature.
